I was diagnosed with mild Hiatal Hernia last September 2011 after a gastroscopy procedure. My gastro doctor gave me protonix to be taken for 2 months. After a month, my burping / acid reflux stopped so i stopped taking the protonix. The following month, my burping and acid reflux with heartburn started again. Is it ok to start taking the protonix again after stopping it for a month?

Also, what are the food restrictions if you have hiatal hernia? Is it ok also to take gastro supplement tablets? Will yogurt also helps?

Thank you.

Protonix is not a cure and you have proven that already. Taking it again will help end the symptoms, but only temporarily. View my Hiatal Hernia Self Massage Video to completely cure your condition:

No food restrictions or supplements necessary and yogurt does not help.
